"Uncaught TypeError: n.templates is not a function" issue

Question

I'm new to Syncfusion and was attempting to get the ejSpreadsheet up and running by following the 'Getting Started' instructions, however I keep running into the same error message. Uncaught TypeError: n.templates is not a function.

Somewhere else on the forum it mentions that this could be due to the jquery versions, however I'm following the exact instructions on the Getting Started page and therefore using the versions laid out on that page. Can someone provide some insight into this error?

We have checked your reported issue by preparing the sample based on the steps in the “Getting Started” document and the Spreadsheet rendered properly. The issue “Uncaught TypeError: n.templates is not a function.” will be thrown when “jsrender” script is not referred in the Sample. Please check the below JS playground sample.
