Select Appointments in code

How can I select an appointment via code? I expect to have a SelectedAppointment property to bind to like the SelectedDate property.
Is there any workaround I can use to select an appointment if there is no such functionality (e.g. Reflection)?
Currently I'm using the SelectedDate property, but that's not enough as it does not select the appointment itself.

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

Currently, we don’t have support to select appointment programmatically and binding the SelectedAppointment as like SelectedDate property is not available in Schedule Xamarin Forms. We have logged feature report for the same. We will implement and include this feature in any of our upcoming release. We will let you know once the implementation has done.

Hi Hirantha,

Thank you for using syncfusion products.

We have analyzed your requirement of “support for binding the SelectedAppointment as like SelectedDate property in xamarin form SfSchedule”. We have already logged a feature request for the same. We will implement this feature in any of our upcoming release.

At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features and identify features for implementation based on specific parameters including product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest. We will let you know when this feature is implemented. We appreciate your patience until then.

If you have any more specification/suggestions to the feature request, you can add it as a comment in the portal and cast your vote to make it count.
