Exporting to PDF

Hi,

I have read your documentation: https://help.syncfusion.com/js/gantt/exporting#server-configuration
There it is written, that for export we need one of the following servers:

• Web API
• WCF Service
• ASP.NET MVC Controller Action
• ASP.NET WebMethod

Since I have noticed that you also have some support and components for .NET Core, I wonder if there is currently any option to make export thrue .NET Core server, or we need to create e.q. Web API server just for eport?

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support. 

Currently Gantt PDF export was not available in .net Core platform. To perform Gantt PDF export in .net Core platform we have to create web service for this. 

Can you please explain the importance of this features in your project? It will be helpful for us to consider this feature and prioritize in our upcoming volume release.

Hi,

we courently have only .NET Core server, which is cross platform. If you don't have support for it, we have two options: or wait you to implemente it or create new server instance in e.q. Web API, which works only on Windows. If that we would have another server , where we would need to implement security and other stuff.
So we wuld likely wait to implementation in .NET Core, but we wonder when that could be implemented?

Thank you for your update. 

As we have already scheduled many high priority features for our upcoming releases, we don’t have a definite timeline to implement this feature for PDF exporting support in ASP.NET core platform. Considering the importance of the feature support, we have logged this requirement as a feature request, but we don’t have an immediate plan to start the implementation. Therefore we will implement in any of our upcoming releases.
