How to programmatically open a TabItem?

There are three tabs on the first tab when you click do 

            TabView.SelectedIndex = 1; (or 2) 
not to open a second tab, how to open programmatically  tab?

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

We have checked your requirement from our side. SelectedIndex =1 is used to move to the second tab. We have attached the sample in which we have selected the TabItem using SelectedIndex property. Please find the sample from below link.

well, then why if you add an item programmatically and immediately open the add-ons and those do not open ?

            sfTabView.Items.Add(ConnectedDeviceTabItem);
            ConnectedDeviceTabItem.Index = sfTabView.Items.Count - 1;
            fTabView.SelectedIndex =  sfTabView.Items.Count - 1;
SelectedIndex-changes, but the view remains the same and not the new one added

Thanks for the update.

We have checked the reported issue "TabItem content does not appear when we update dynamically on Android" from our side and we are able to reproduce the reported issue from our side. Fix will be included in our upcoming 2018 Vol 1 SP 1 release, which will be rolled out by the end of this month.
