ASP.net core - updating parameter

Do you have an example of how to update a parameter on a dashboard through asp.net core?

Hi Ross, 

Currently, we don’t have support to create/update dashboard parameter on the dashboard through ASP.NET core 
We are working on this support and it will be available in our upcoming release.

Ok, thanks for the update. Do you have a release date for the next release as well as what will be included in the update?

The tentative release date of our product will be end of March 2018, Find the following list of updates  will be provided along with our upcoming release:

  2. Dashboard parameter enhancement for Relative date support in Dashboard Designer
  3. Option to customize the Fiscal year start in Dashboard Designer
  4. Widget wise auto refresh configuration support in Dashboard Designer
  5. Expression improvements to calculate Total, Running Total and Index in Dashboard Designer
  6. Ability to add Materialized view for PostgreSQL Data Source connection in Dashboard Designer
  7. Improvements in Custom Widgets like Formatting, Linking and Relative date support
  8. Ability to map the Alias Name in Map widget in Dashboard Designer
  9. Informative error message display support for all widgets in Dashboard Viewer
  10. Customizing the widget actions for hyperlink, filter and drilldown in Dashboard Viewer
  11. Pin the dashboard widgets with its current filters into Home page in Dashboard Server
  12. Ability to upload file(s) into Dashboard Server
  13. Immediate login (without import) from Windows Active directory and Azure Active directory in Dashboard Server
  14. Option to include/exclude the sample dashboards deployment during Dashboard Server system startup
  15. Improvement in Password policy settings in Dashboard Server Administration
  16. Bug fixes and Usability improvements in Dashboard Designer
