ReportViewer doesn't display chart

Hi,
I create a chart in sql report builder 2016 and it works perfectly even when I export it to an Excel file it shows me the chart, but there is an error with ReportViewer, for some reason, it does not display the chart. Take a look at the screenshot.
And of course I can not send the report that contains the error (confidential data).

Regards,
Anis

Hi Anis,

We were unable to reproduce the mentioned problem at our end. We have created a report with chart reportitem as like as the chart specified in your shared screenshot and its working properly at our end. So can you please modify the shared RDL file with issue reproducible state and share with us which would be helpful for us to validate the mentioned problem.

For your reference, we have prepared a sample and it can be downloaded from below location,

Hi Anis,

We have tested the shared sample and the chart report item is working properly at our end as shown in shared demo video file. We suspect the mentioned problem might be occurred when we render the chart report in different machine culture. So can you please share your machine culture and it would be helpful for us to validate the mentioned problem at our end. For your refence, we have prepared a working demo video and it can be downloaded from below location,

Hi,
My machine culture is french (fr-FR), and in my project I use english (en-GB) "<globalization fileEncoding="utf-8" culture="en" uiCulture="en-GB" />".
I tried to change the culture of ReportViewer to french but I get the same problem.

Regards,
Anis

Hi Anis,

We were able to reproduce the mentioned problem with your shared RDL when rendering in French culture. on further analyzing we have found that the XML data used in the shared report having ”en-us” format numeric data, since we don’t automatic data conversion. Hence the mentioned problem occurred at our end.  we don’t have support converts the XML static data based on the machine culture. So, we have logged a feature request on this and it will be implemented in our Essential studio volume 1 SP1, 2018 release.

Hi,
How it looks like the ”en-us” format numeric data (dateTime format or what format)?
I'm using data from the sql database, and in the previous version of syncfusion I was able to create a chart in ReportViewer with fr culture.

Regards,
Anis

Hi Anis,

We have tested the mentioned problem by passing the datasource value from the report from SQL server in French culture and its working properly at our end. So we have prepared a sample with the shared RDL file and can you please confirm the sample is working properly at your end which can be downloaded from below location,

If the issue still persists, then revert the sample with issue reproducible procedure and it would be helpful for us to validate the mentioned problem at our end.

Yuvaraj D.
