How to add a margin between docks

Question

I have several docks setup with a Docking Adapter so I can use docks with MVVM. I would like to add margins in between each dock but I'm having trouble. I just want to increase the space that the picture below points to.

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support. 

Splitter is placed between dock children so we suggest you to change the size of splitter to increase the space between dock children. Splitter size can be changed using SplitterSize property of DockingManager. We have prepared sample which tries to meet your requirement. In this sample we have changed the value of SplitterSize to 8, default value of this property is 4.  Please download the sample from below location,
