Resource View for Gantt

Hi, looking at/evaluating the JS gantt chart, all the example seem to be "task centric", i.e. we have one task per row, and tasks labelled vertically down the left side.

Is it possible to have a resource view, where each row is a resource, and we can have multiple tasks per resource? (ie per row)

We have analyzed your query, we can achieve your requirement by using resource allocation view support in Gantt . In this view we can display resources in Grid side and render corresponding tasks in chart side.

Just one more question... are we able to have dependencies in the resource view?

Hi Peter, 

We have analyzed your query, In resource-view Gantt we can assign dependencies for tasks and task date values are validated according to its dependent tasks. But connector between the tasks are not shown because same task can worked by multiple resources, hence tasks are displayed in multiple rows. Due to this connector lines are not drawn in resource view.  

And we can view/update the predecessor relationship by double click(editing) the taskbar, when we save the new value in edit dialog, task date values are updated with predecessor values.
