SfCarousel ItemHeight, ItemWidth issues

Question

Hello there, I just found the SFCarousel control for Xamarin Forms and thought it would be really useful for a project I am working on, so I downloaded it and added it to my solution.

My issue is that I am trying to load Album Art from the Spotify Web API and display them using SFCarousel, each album picture is 300x300 in size so I set the ItemHeight and ItemWidth attributes to 300.

The album art binds to the SFCarousel control just fine, unfortunately I am getting weird results with regards to item width and height, I would expect the Carousel items to be square shaped but they still look portrait and the album art is cropped. No matter what values I add to ItemHeight and ItemWidth this does not change, it makes it worse even!

Am I doing something wrong or is this a limitation of SFCarousel?

I have attached a screenshot (in zip file) of what I'm getting back, any help will be appreciated.

I was able to get this working, you have to set the ItemHeight and ItemWidth AFTER you have set the Datasource.
