The Drop-down list in grid batch mode, text is not showing.

hi,

       My issue is country name is listed in Drop-down  grid batch mode.  once select the country, text is show only grid but i need the value of the country should come in grid  data source . But here, when i select  Drop-down value in  grid batch mode, the list of text are showing . once select the text, it's automatically change the text to value. 

how to solve this issue.
