How to change color of appointment?

I would like to show some appointments in different color for example, Today is 7th and i want to show past appointments dark blue(default) as below and future ones as red like highlighted in the image below. how is it possible? 

If I use OnMonthCellLoadedEvent by changing args.view = monthCell; I can only change the background but I would like to change this appointment icon. is it possible?

As of now, the mentioned support to customize the Schedule MonthView Appointment indicator is not available in Xamarin Forms. We have considered to implement this feature for customizing the Appointment Indicator color and customizing the entire notation UI. We have logged feature report for the same, we will implement and include this feature in any of our upcoming Volume release.
