TreeView in Xamarin.Forms

Hello Syncfusion Team,

are there any plans for implementing a Treeview Control in Xamarin, like SfTreeView in WPF? Maybe the SfListView can be extended to meet this requirements.

Thanks and regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for using Syncfusion Products.

We regret to inform you that we cannot achieve the reported requirement “Implementing TreeView control by extending the SfListView in Xamarin Forms”. However, we have already considered the “TreeView control in Xamarin Forms” as feature request and added it into our feature request list and the date for the feature is tentative and it will be available in any of our upcoming releases. We will let you know once the feature has been implemented.

Please let us know if you require further assistance.

Regards,
Dinesh Babu Yadav

Hi Dinesh, is TreeView still scheduled for 2018 Vol 1? Can we expect it until the end of February or later?

Hi Giorgos,

We have internally logged the request for TreeView control and we will start to implement the control based on the number of customers request and benefit to the product. So we haven’t started that control yet. And most requested features are already in queue, we will start to implement this control once the already queued most requested and important features are completed. And as per your request, we will start to implement the control as much as earlier and will let you know once we are going to start.

G. Muthu Kumaran.

We are also looking for a Xamarin.Forms TreeView control.
We will begin on programming a feature in which we could use a xamarin.forms TreeView control in first quarter of 2018.
If a control like this would exist it would help us a lot.

Thanks,
Regards,
C. Brunschwiler

Hi Claudio,

We have considered your request also. As we already stated in our previous update, most requested controls(SfListView Xamarin.Android & Xamarin.iOS, SfPopup, SegmentControl) development are going on, currently we are unable to start the implementation of TreeView control. However we will start implementation once prioritized items have been completed. We will let you know once we start the implementation of the control.
