We suspect that the mentioned “parent window didn’t closed in chrome” issue is not related to DocIO and this issue may be caused due to limitation or configuration of Google Chrome. So kindly raise the query to Google Chrome support team to resolve the reported issue. If you suspect this issue caused due to DocIO then, kindly provide us the sample to reproduce the issue at our end.
