No page numeration is shown in TableOfContent when docx generated in Azure

Hi,
May be someone got it and got it working? I'm using Synfusion version 9. When docx generated 'on premise' the TableOfContent works fine and pagenumbers are generated and shown. But when it's generated in Azure, no page numeration is shown. Why? What can be done as workaround?
Thanks.

Hi IrinaDN,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

Azure environment is a Partial-Trust environment and it has some limitations in GDI support in the Partial-Trust environment. Due to this limitation, some of the GDI functionalities will not be reflected properly in azure web services. Essential DocIO uses GDI functionalities in Word to PDF conversion, which will be compatible to run in all the full trust environments. So, the limitations with Partial-Trust environments are applicable for Essential DocIO also while using this in Azure websites.

While updating TOC, Essential DocIO internally make use of Word to PDF layouting engine for updating the page number in Word document. Due to this reason, Essential DocIO doesn’t have TOC (update table of contents) support in Azure environment.

We suspect you may face GDI+ exceptions while calling UpdateTableOfContents API in Azure environment. But you have mentioned document generated properly without any exceptions. So, kindly provide your confirmation whether you have faced any exception or not while generating Word document with Table of Contents in Azure environment ?.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
