Drag and Drop needs a click first

When for example row#3 is selected on a grid and the user wants to drag row# 5 you cant just drag row# 5. you have to first click on row#5 and release to make it the current row. then click on it again and drag it

Thanks for Contacting Syncfusion support.

 

In order to differentiate between the ‘rowselection’ and ‘rowdraggle’, we have click the row first to drag and drop the row.If you click the row, the row will be selected and it will be able to drag and if you select the row,row will not able to be drag.This is default behavior of the grid.

not sure i understand

when the user wants to drag a row they move the mouse on top of the row and use the left mouse button down and then start dragging. 

This does not work and will actually drag a different row that was selected previously
