We have tested the “Transparent” color value for chart background and it works properly at our end. Please confirm whether you were checking the color for background property. If not, then please share the steps or property name to reproduce the issue at our end. It will help to provide the solution at the earliest.
Grid lines dont show on chart in Preview, normal ?
When creating a new chart only the horizontal gridlines are enabled whereas the vertical gridline is disabled. Please enable vertical gridlines of the chart using property window to show both grid lines in view. Please refer the attached snap.
