Yes, we will be adding support for direct C# Spark development (likely through Mobius). We are also working on making is easy for Windows Clients to connect to Spark and Hive without any additional dependencies. We will provide more details on this work in the next 3-4 weeks.

Hi Stefan, 

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion products. 

We have ensured the compatibility and feature set of Mobius. There is limitation in Mobius for MLlib(machine learning) and GraphX(graph) APIs whereas Spark SQL and DataFrames and Spark Streaming are supported. Currently we have planned to ship Mobius with available features with Syncfusion Big Data Platform. It will be available on or before mid of April 2017.

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion Products. 

We have completed all investigation over Mobius integration and to be expected in the next release that planned for the month May 2017 as we have recently rolled out a version 3.1.0.96. 

As of now I’ve provided an easy way to integrate Mobius with Syncfusion Big Data Studio. Please refer the following link for more details. It includes procedure to configure Mobius and C# samples for the same.
