I'm using DataSource to fill dropdownlist.

On page_load list is fill.

For some reason, after event on page(button_click,grid_selected_row) list is empty.

I put it to fill on load and on event but nothing.

We are unable to reproduce the reported issue of DropDownList control. We have prepared the sample as per your requirement. Please find the sample link below.

In the above sample, we have used the DropDownList inside the row of Grid control and called the server side event named ”OnServerRowSelected” and on clicking the edit option in the Grid we can see the data binded in the DropDownList. 

Still face if you face any difficulties means kindly share us the issue reproducible sample or the code snippet to reproduce the reported issue.
