Possible to set background image for a diagram?

Hi,

I need to enable the user to drag items to a plan,the plan is an image

(See attached)

When user drop an item inside the rectangle marked with red circles i need to expand the item to that rectangle

(I know how to find the rectangle in the image)

Is it possible toset background image for a diagram,one which will be resize and zoom as the diagram zoom,and still see the grid lines?

Looks like it is possible

Still i have small issue...how do i limit the designer canvas size to be exactly the same as the background size image
