Carousel with ContentView

Can we add content View inside Carousel.

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

Curently in Carosuel control we can add only images to the CarouselItem. We have internally logged a feature for View support and implemented the support in Carousel control. This will be available in our upcoming Volume 2 release which is expected to be roll out by the mid of June, 2016. By using this custom View support, you can achieve your requirement of assigning the Content view to carousel control. Please visit our website periodically for updates regarding releases.

Is there any update on this where I can use a Content view in the carousel pages. It is already mid August 2016.

I would like to add tabs to the Carousel control and swipe the tabs to navigate back and forth.

We have provided the custom view support to SfCarousel control. With this support, we can use Content View in SfCarousel control. We have created a sample to illustrate the way to add content view to SfCarousel Item which can be downloaded from the following link

Hi,

Thanks for this feature and it Is to have content view in the Carousel.

But I was expecting something more from this feature, since it might be the ideal control to replace the Tab Sheet control.

My idea of the lay out is as follows.

Each item in the carousel view should be at least the whole page and like a Tab Sheet except that the user slides from left to right or right to left to navigate between tabs.

Of course there should be visible hints for the total number of items in the Carousel and which item he is currently in.

Please let me know if this is possible with the latest release.

Thanks for your update.

Your requirement can be achieved by using Syncfusion 's SfRotator control. Each rotator's item occupied whole page. Total Number of rotator items can be noticed by dots view which is at bottom of Rotator control. We can also view in which item we are in currently.

Please provide sample how i have 5 ContentView and one Main Page 

I want to add all 5 Content Views inside SFRotator i saw the sample of images but i need to add Content Views.

Well what i want is to add multiple external ContentViews  as a content of Rotator.

All my ContentViews displays different data i just want to add all ContentViews as a child items of Rotator.

Thanks sample helped me what I was looking for but one issue is on initial load user have to swap the rotator control otherwise first content view displays nothing totally white content .
