Custom placeholders in WORD for replacement

How can I use custom placeholders like "${placeholder}", instead of ">>placeholder<<" ?

You can use custom placeholders as text for replacing the document contents. For your reference we have prepared a sample to replace the custom placeholder text in the template document with another text content. Please find the sample from the following link and let us know if it helps.

If I have a list of text placeholder ,how to best replace the placeholder in my word file. What is the most performance way ?

Hi Customer,

Find and Replace functionality of DocIO helps to find a given text in the Word document and replace the same with the new text. Mail merge functionality of DocIO helps to replace the Word document contents with the data from the data source using the Merge fields.

If your requirement is to replace same text throughout the Word document then you can use Find and Replace functionality of DocIO. If your requirement is to replace document contents dynamically from the database then you can use Mail merge functionality of DocIO.
