Hi Paul,
I have tested for this issue in our latest release, Essential Suite v2.0.3.0 and the NumericUpDownExt''s ReadOnly property works fine. The background gets grayed and it is not possible to edit the value displayed. Please let me know the version of Essential Suite that you are using. We appreciate your interest in Syncfusion products.

We''re on version 1.6.1.8 of the tools and grid controls. Our subscription expired earlier this month so we just missed out on version 2.
