Chart Toolbar - Graph Selection

Hello,

We are allowing our users to select the chart type via the chart toolbar, however we load the chart via a dataset so not all chart types are relevant to each report we create. Is there a simple way of accessing the chart types listed on the toolbar icon within code so that they can be removed? Or what is the alternative to this?
