Expand to right level after drop

When there is a hierarchical dimension (eg Country, State, City, Name) and whatever item I drag to the grid, I see the non-expanded Countries in the grid.

Is it possible that the grid will be build according to the level I drag. Eg when I drag State I'd see the following:
Canada
   BC
Mexico
   DF
   Guerrero

Hi Frank,

Thank you for using Syncfusion products.

When we drop any level from a user-defined hierarchy, we would render from 1st level only and not from the dropped level. It’s a valid behavior. Meanwhile we have also checked this behavior in MS Excel and please find the appropriate video illustrating the same.

Hi Ramesh,

I understand you want to mimic MS Excel's behaviour. But it is very circuitous when someone actually want to see the lower level. There is no expand to level xxx functionality as far as I know, so he needs to expand item after item.

Is this also the case when using the Field List?

In such case, you can utilize attribute hierarchy for this scenario, where you will be able to drop and show the nth individual level. Please find the following video demo for your reference.

Yes, both CubeDimensionBrowser and Field List show the same result for this scenario.
