SFautocomplete using in xaml

first apologies for being \ newbie and maybe this is a simplistic question

second I tried to post before but it seemed to get lost somewhere

I've downloaded the community edition and am keen to try out SFAutoComplete

I can only get the Invoice sample to compile (others throw up hundreds of errors but that's by the bye

what I want to understand is how can I reference the SFAutocomplete in the xaml

I'm not very conversant with writing UI code in the code behind and have more of a handle on putting lines into xaml

However though I add a reference to the assembly in VS references I can't quite understand how to call an SFAutoComplete box in the xamal file

Is it possible and can anyone give me some sample lines?
