How to disable left click on palette shapes

Hi,

Right now, if the user left clicks on a shape in the palette, the shape is dropped on the canvas.
I need to disable this action.

Is there a way to do this?

Keep in mind that I already have a mouseup event attached to the div in which the palette is placed to ensure that only 1 palette is open at a time (something you provided me).

Any suggestions?

Thanks for using Syncfusion products.

Currently we don’t have support to prevent the shape dropping into the canvas from the palette on mouse click. We consider this as an issue and  logged “Need to prevent the shape dropping into the canvas when click on the palette”  as a defect and also we have created a support incident under your account to track the status of this issue.
