Hi Parsia,

Thanks for using Syncfusion products.

We have analyzed your requirement for “Selecting an appointment programmatically using Schedule control". Since this feature isn't available in our product, we consider this to be a feature request.

We have logged a feature request in our database. We will implement this feature in any of our upcoming volume release. We will let you know once the implementation has done.

Please let us know if you have any concerns.

Regards,
Nijamudeen M.

Thanks! Is it going to be in this next release coming at the end of December?

Also just to clarify. When an appointment is selected programmatically, the schedule control should navigate to the correct view and highlight the selection.

Example:

If the schedule control is in the 'week view' when making a selection programmatically then it should navigate correctly in the 'week view' and find the correct appointment and select it, even if the appointment is in another week.

Hi Parsia,

Thanks for your previous update.

Regarding feature release:

The feature “Need to provide support for selecting an appointment programmatically” will not be available in our upcoming volume release. We will implement this feature in any of our upcoming volume release. We will let you know once the implementation has done.

Regarding navigate to particular appointment:

Based on your provided information, your requirement of navigate to particular appointment can be achieved by using schedule methods “MoveToDate” and “MoveToTime”.We have prepared a simple sample for navigate to specific appointments.

In the below attached sample we have passed the appointment’s start date to “MoveToDate” method and appointment’s time to “MoveToTime” method

Please let us know, if you have any concerns.

Regards,
Nijamudeen M.

Thanks!

I will use this as a workaround until the selection feature is implemented.
