From your update, it seems that you have checked the grid control in ASP.NET(Classic) platform. But we have provided the grid control in ASP.NET platform.
We would like to let you know that, we have marked the previous ASP.NET controls (i.e., ASP.NET components offered before 12.2.0.36 version) as ASP.NET(Classic) components. Now we have provided newer set of controls powered by Essential JavaScript as ASP.NET Controls from 12.2.0.36 version. The newer version provides several advantages over classic edition including purely client side rendered HTML5/JavaScript controls, offers better performance and provides better support for touch interactivity.
If you have already install the ASP.NET platform, please refer the below help link for how to add grid control in ASP.NET platform.

If the Syncfusion ASP.NET setup has not been installed in your machine, you can download the corresponding version(12.3) setup by logging into your Syncfusion support in direct-trac and going to 'Downloads' page from the Direct Trac customer dashboard. Select the required Syncfusion version to download the ASP.NET setup.

In order to get the respective version unlock key, please navigate to the "License and Keys" page from the Direct Trac customer dashboard and choose the corresponding license 'Unlock Key' option. You Will need to choose the corresponding version(12.3.0.36) from "Generate Product Key" drop down, so that you can get your key for the respective version.
