GridGroupingControl data validation

Is it possible to perform data validation in any cell within a GridGroupingControl before updates is committed to the database?
 
Can I get some examples please?  Thank you.

We are glad to let you know that we have achieved your requirement. We have created the sample to perform server side validation. We have performed validation in the time of updating a record. We have checked the Product Name column having only Characters.
