Corrupt displaying of text, appear shifted up

Sometimes, I don''t exactly when, the EditControl does not correctly display the text content.
It looks like if all characters are shifted up by their half height.
I wasn''t able to reproduce that symptom. It mostly appears if I add a EditControl to my bigger application. If I start with a fresh new application it seems to work.

We are sorry to hear about the problem. We need to be able reproduce it consistently to locate the cause before attempting to fix this. Are you able to reproduce this in one of the samples? Which version of Essential Edit are you currently using? Can you post more details on steps required to reproduce the problem.

Hi Arun, I''m using version 1.6.1.8 of the EditControl. The EditControl appear always with that problems when I create it onto a subform of my main-app which is an tabbed-MDI app with all other stuff of Essential Suite. If I create the EditControl on a MDI-Child or on the mainform itself, everything is working. I tried several kinds of subforms with owner and without, modal and not ... always the same. I attached a screenshot of my edit with gridlines enabled to show the problem... edit_1032.zip If I launch a new fresh project everything is working! please help... Ralf

Thank you for posting an image displaying the problem you are encountering. We have not been successful in reproducing this here. Is there any way you could post more information or a sample to consistently reproduce this issue?
