Thanks Muthukumar for this fast reply.

.. OK, i see now ... it's grouped inside "Tools" section

a bit miss-leading why some controls have their own chapter, and some others (not necessary small/limited controls, like this treeview) are regrouped in Tools ...

Thanks again

F

Hi Fernando,

Can you not use your own forum thread ?
(so that other users do not receive 8 notifications about your own question that is not related at all to the first question :)

That being said, your question seems indeed interesting ... just not related at all

In NodeVm.cs, we need to comment this.ContentTemplate = null line in OnContentTemplateChanged event. For more information please refer the below code.

Hi Fernando,

We have provided the code example to enable Printing option in Diagram Builder sample. Please refer to the code example as below.

public void OnPrintCommand(object param)
{
    ExportSettings settings = new ExportSettings()
     {
        ImageStretch = Stretch.Fill,

     (SelectedDiagram.Info as IGraph).ExportSettings = settings;
     (SelectedDiagram.Info as IGraph).PrintingService.ShowDialog = true;
     (SelectedDiagram.Info as IGraph).PrintingService.Print();
}

Also, provided Xaml code to bind the Print command in a Button .Please refer to the code as below.

<syncfusion:BackStageCommandButton Header="Print" Command="{Binding DataContext.Print,Mode=TwoWay,ElementName=ribbon}" > </syncfusion:BackStageCommandButton>

Hi Fernando,

We have provided code example to enable Export option in Diagram Builder sample. Please refer to the below code example. The below code is used to export the Diagramming object (Nodes and Connectors) into PDF.

Add the below C# code in DiagramBuilderVM.cs file and Syncfusion.Pdf.Base.dll as a reference.
C# code example:
public void OnExportCommand(object param)
{
Microsoft.Win32.SaveFileDialog saveFileDialog = new Microsoft.Win32.SaveFileDialog();
saveFileDialog.Filter = "PDF File|*.pdf";
saveFileDialog.Title = "Save to a PDF file";
saveFileDialog.FileName = "Diagram";
saveFileDialog.ShowDialog();
if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(saveFileDialog.FileName))
{
SaveFileDialog m_SaveFileDialog = new SaveFileDialog();
m_SaveFileDialog = new SaveFileDialog();
m_SaveFileDialog.Filter = "XPS File(*.xps)|*.xps";
m_SaveFileDialog.FileName = "DiagramExport";
string name = m_SaveFileDialog.FileName;
ExportSettings es = new ExportSettings();
es.FileName = name;
es.IsSaveToXps = true;
(SelectedDiagram.Info as IGraph).ExportSettings = es;
(SelectedDiagram.Info as IGraphInfo).Export();
Syncfusion.XPS.XPSToPdfConverter converter1 = new Syncfusion.XPS.XPSToPdfConverter();
//Convert XPS document into PDF document
PdfDocument document = converter1.Convert(name);
//save and close the document
document.Save(saveFileDialog.FileName);
document.Close(true);
}
}
Also, provided XAML code to bind the Export command in a Button. Please refer to the below code,
<syncfusion:BackStageCommandButton Header="Export" Command="{Binding DataContext.Export,Mode=TwoWay,ElementName=ribbon}" ></syncfusion:BackStageCommandButton>

Hi Fernando,
Requirement: To show ToolTip for NodeViewModel.
This reported requirement can be achieved by using Custom class from NodeViewModel with new Property. We have created a simple sample to represent this. Please refer to the sample as below.
Sample link:
ToolTipBinding

Sample Details:
We have created a NodeVm class (derived from NodeViewModel) with CustomToolTip property. We have bind this Custom Property with ToolTip of Node (View) in Default binding Style.
Note: In Diagram Builder, already Custom class (NodeVM) for NodeViewModel is available.

Ramya

         Public string CustomToolTip
         {
             Get {return _toolTip; }
             set
             {
                 If (_toolTip! = Value)
                 {
                     _toolTip = value;

Hi Fernando
Requirement: To show ToolTip for NodeViewModel.
The Diagram Builder sample already have NodeVM class(DiagramBuilder->ViewModel->NodeVM.cs) which is derived from INode. So, please to create a custom ToolTip property in NodeVM class and bind this Custom Property with ToolTip of Node (View) in Default binding Style.

Regards,
Keerthivasan R.

Hi Fernando,
Requirement: The ContentTemplate Added text is Drag and Drop the Node from stencil to DaigramPage and click the Node to remove the ContentTemplate and add require Annotation to Node.

In DiagramBuilder sample, ContentTemplate is added to stencil Node. To achieve your requirement, please set ContentTemplate as null when click is made on the dropped Node and add your required text to the Node. To wrap the Annotation Content based on the Node Width and Height, please to set Width, Height and WrapText to the Annotation.

For more information about Wrapping and appearance of Annotation, please refer the online documentation link as below.
