I am using Indexers in the Mapping Path, like Customers[Sam].FirstName as a mapping name for the GridTextColumn in SfDataGrid. I can see values in the grid, I can even modify values. However, when i click on the column header to sort or group, SfDataGrid crashed.

Hi Om,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support,

We have analyzed your queries. By setting “UseBindingValue as true”, you can sort the column in SfDataGrid. Based on this, we have prepared a simple sample and it can be downloaded from following location.

Sample: Indexer_Sample.zip

However,  there is an issue while grouping the column .We have logged an issue report on this and we will update you with fix for this issue in two weeks as on December 31, 2013. We have created an incident 117026 for this issue using your Direct-Trac account. Please follow up with this incident for further updates.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.
