In many ways the Syncfusion grid is more powerfull than Excel particularly in the abilty to host a grid within a cell. This is an important feature providing a "3D" capability within our application. However, it is important to export data within the grid environment for use by our clients in Excel. For documentation and reference purposes we need a place to stuff the detail housed in the grid within the grid. The most logical place to put it is in the Excel cell comments. In ExcelRW 2.0.1.0 a template of the comment source is included but not implemented. Any word on when the implementation will be available.

Hi Joe,
Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion ExcelRW. Unfortunately, the Excel comments support will be added only after the final release of version 2.0. We had tried hard to add support for Excel Comments before the final release but priority was given to adding Excel Charts support. However we will try to implement the Excel Comments feature as soon as possible. This feature would approximately be available during the 1st or 2nd week of April. Would that work for you?. Thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
Stephen.
