Visio Interop

Hi

When I try and import Visio Stencils the application crashes - message below:

"System.IO.FileNotFoundException was unhandled
  Message=Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Visio, Version=11.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."

Does Visio have to be on the development machines for Diagram to be able to handle Visio Files ?
Or is there something I need to install ?
