Open DatePicker programmatically

When I open a DatePicker programmatically (like such "datePicker.IsDropDownOpen = true;"), it becomes sticky. In other words, it's not lightly dismissable, it doesn't dismiss itself when I click anywhere else on the screen, so I have to forcefully present cancel/done buttons.

In the meantime, is there a workaround for this?

Hi Diogo,

Thank you for using Syncfusion products.

The requirement can be achieved by setting IsDropDownOpen to 'False' on DatePicker's LostFocus. The work around sample can be downloaded from the below location .

We will try to provide a direct solution in any of our upcoming releases.

Please let us know in case of any queries.

Regards,
Yasvanth.
