ComponentOne's Date / Time Pickers can also be used a text input field with optional picker that opens when I click a button (see screenshot at https://www.componentone.com/SuperProducts/DateTimeEditorsXAML/). IMO this is far superior to a picker-only solution since it allows the user to use the picker or to enter the date / time with his keyboard if there is any.

Can this also be done with your date / pickers? If not, what would be the recommended workaround to emulate this behavior?

Hi Adrian,

Thank you for showing your interest in Syncfusion products.

Currently we do not have the support to “providing input to DatePicker via Keyboard”.

But still we can achieve the requirement by customizing the DatePicker Template. We have prepared a sample based on your requirement and we have attached the sample for your reference.

Please let us know if you have any queries.
