Syncfusion assemblies hosting on Godaddy

Question

Hi,

Do the assemblies have to be installed on the IIS server. Right now, I have included the assemblies into the bin folder and published them. But after hosting it on godaddy, it is not able to find the assemblies.

It is Dot net web site hosted on godaddy servers.

Also, sometimes I get the error before publishing:

Error 1 error CS0433: The type 'Syncfusion.Web.UI.WebControls.Chart.ChartAdv.ChartAdv' exists in both 'c:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Syncfusion.Chart.Web\10.303.0.43__3d67ed1f87d44c89\Syncfusion.Chart.Web.dll' and 'c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Syncfusion.Chart.Web\v4.0_10.304.0.43__3d67ed1f87d44c89\Syncfusion.Chart.Web.dll'

1)Assemblies in bin folder of sample

We suggest you to add all the required Syncfusion assemblies in Bin folder and remove the version related details from the assembly reference in the Web.Config file to host the sample in IIS. Please refer the below given steps,

1. 1.Add the below given assemblies to Bin folder which requires to use ChartAdv control,

· Syncfusion.Core.dll

· Syncfusion.Chart.Web.dll

2. Remove the version related details from the Web.Config assembly reference

<system.web>

</assemblies>

</system.web>

3. Run the sample application.

2)Conflict error

We suspect the cause of issue may be because of assemblies version conflict on your sample while refer the assembly from GAC. Could you please check the version details in web config file and referred assemblies of sample?
