Creating/viewing a report on a server

If I have a report (RDL) can I run this on web server to return me a PDF?  I want to give my customers the ability to download reports from my website.  So I was kinda of hoping there would be something with a IO.Stream Report.GenerateReport(path, arguments);

Much like there is in reporting services with SQL Server's web services.

I'd much rather use a report I can define in RDL that generate the PDF element by element.

Am I barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks
