Overlaying Icons

Good day,
Just a suggestion, but it would rock if we could overlay one icon over another.
So lets say that we have two Icons, the first being the "Data" Icon and the second being the Arial letter "V", then what would be nice is if we could make the "V" icon smaller, and a different color then overlay it on the "Data" icon and opt to move it's position accordingly (i.e. to the lower right)

This is my #1 request as well.  We could create tons more icons with this feature.

Hi Lionel,

Thanks You for using Metro Studio, we have these ideas in our to-do list. We are actually not sure about the exact timeline, but we will definitely let you know when we are done with it.

Thanks,
Shandhanu B

It wouldn't have to be arbitrary Icons.

I just would be content with just following overlays: +, -, !, ?, gear, search, x, filter, Command-Reset.
The overlay should be invers in a circle, maybe 1/3 size top or bottom right of the base Icon.

That would be great for Starters.

Has the overlay icon functionality been built into Metro Studio yet?  If not, will it ever be...it's been over 2 years since the SyncFusion response said that the feature would be put into the product roadmap.

Thank you

Hi William,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yet, we have not started this feature based on current architecture and features sets of the Metro Studio.

We have maintained the Path Data for each icon. While providing, overlay support we need to merge and regenerate the path. Due to the complexity of regenerating the Path for new icon, we need to modify our entire architecture of implementation.

We will revalidate the possibilities, based on the complexity of implementing this feature and consider in any our upcoming release and will update you when we make the progress on this.

Regards,
Priyanga B

I am trying out various control libraries for our new projects in WPF. I have used SyncFusion ebooks and other products before and have come have a great experience with your offerings.
