The requirement is to create a business object in the database when the user drags and drops an item from the symbol palette. When dropping on the canvas i want to create the business object.

Hi Srinivas,

We have prepared a simple sample for your requirement. In that sample, when drag and drop the node from Symbol Palette, we have replaced the dropped node by using business object. This business object will be added as a child of “US” business object. Likewise, you can add the business object while drag and drop the node from Symbol Palette.
For more information please refer the following sample.

Please let us know if you have any concerns.

The solution zip file doesn't appear to be downloadable, any chance you could repost it?

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your update.
The previously shared sample in Diagram classic(older).Could you please confirm us whether your requirement is in Diagram classic or SfDiagram? This will help us to provide the sample or solution to the requirement.
Additional Information:
The general guideline is that if you are using the Classic edition of Controls in existing products then you can continue to use them. However, if you are starting a new project then it is recommended that you use the newer alternative available.
