Removing the first x-axis label

Question

I have a chart with a DateTime x-axis running from December 2011 to January 2013, with datapoints for every month in 2012. The axis ticks are monthly, including the two at both ends.

Is it possible for me to not show these two labels, while keeping the 14-month range? All I want to do is hide the text labels highlighted in the attached screenshot - I'd like to keep everything else the same.
