Silent install for old version 4.1.0, just copy dll?

Unfortunately we still using old version 4.1.0 for asp.net only, and need to deploy some severs with a silent install of syncfusion, as this version doesn't support that feature and also I am moving to windows 2008 R2 64bit, anyone knows wich DLL comes in the package to just copy it to that server an register it?,

I am planning to copy the program files\syncfusion folder too.
where should I place the license key, into the registry?

Does anyone have done this before, or have an idea of what should be done ?

thanks
Matias.

Hi Matias,

Thanks for using Syncfusion Products.

Please follow the steps mentioned below to achieve your requirement.

1. Copy the required assemblies from existing machine in which Essential Studio installed and paste it into the target machine's folder.

2. Download the utility from the below link.

http://files.syncfusion.com/support/Build/RegisterProductkeyinBuildMachine.zip

3. Extract the zip file, it contains two files named enterkey.bat and synckeynoui.exe.

4. Open the Command Prompt with administrator privileges.

5. Navigate to the parent folder of the batch file.

6. Run the command 'enterkey' followed by your product key.

Note : Product key should be enclosed in the double quotes.

Example: C:\Work\Root>enterkey "PRODUCT KEY"

Please let us know, if you have any queries.

Thanks Sivaguru

I will copy everything from \Program Files\Essential Studio\ to the new machine on exactly the same location, but what about all the DLL that are in \Windows\Microsoft.NET'Framework\Temporary ASP.NET Files\Syncfusion2_0\
Does all came with the installation package?

Do Ineed to register any of this files?

thanks
Matias.

Hi Matias,

Thanks for the update.

When you run the project or samples their corresponding dll's copy will be created and referred from that location (C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files\..). It is just a temporary files folder. When you closed the project ,all the files exist in that folder will be cleared.

Please let us know, if you have any queries.
