We are having a problem with Filtering in WinForms GridGroupingControl. We are using Syncfusion 9.103.0.20.
Problem we are experiencing:
- Grouping and Filtering are enabled - We bind a collection of records which include a mix of populated and empty values in some columns. - If we first group by that column, then filter on that column such that only blank values should be shown, we see no records, and no groups.
Cases we tried: 1) Group and filter on populated values. Results: Works as expected in any ordering. 2) 1st filter on blank value in a column, then Group by that column. Results: as expected, we see one group, containing all the records for which that column has blank value. 3) First group on column which contains results: Interim Results, we see groups for all values in the column, including a group for blanks. Then filter on blank values for that Column. End Results: All groups are gone, no records are shown. At this point, if we ungroup that column (dragging it off the group bar), we still see no records in the table. Records, including ones with blank values, only reappear after we remove the filter by blanks.
