It seems that, both in your online samples, and my own app, that the MVC style manager 'magic lines' required in the section e.g.
@(Html.Raw(Html.Syncfusion().StyleManager.Register(Function(styleSheet) styleSheet.Add(ComponentType.Grid)).ToString))

generates   characters in front of each "".

The W3C validator believes this is invalid, and I am inclined to agree.

Can this be fixed or avoided in some way?

Hi Mark,

The reported issue with ’ Style Manager creates an illegal character(nbsp) with link ' has been confirmed as a defect; hence we have logged a defect report. However, we do not provide confidential information and patches in the general forum, so could you please create a new incident such that we can fix the issue and provide the patch for you.
