We need to be able to extract text elements with it's coordinates and location information. (As an aside currently when you extract text the returned string does not represent the actual text on the page, it is just the text elements as they have been added to the page and so may appear in any order, so it is not possible to extract the text as it reads on the page.)
We need to be able to replace specific words in a document. If we don't know where the text is on the page, then we cannot change it and redraw it in the same place, let alone use the right font etc.
