Syncfusion Shares Educational Resources Through Microsoft TechRewards

Research Triangle Park, N.C.—March 17, 2016—Syncfusion, Inc., the developer solutions company of choice, today announced continued participation in the Microsoft TechRewards program. This month, Syncfusion will share content from the Succinctly series of technical e-books and create video quiz challenges. Microsoft TechRewards is designed to create a fun, inventive, and competitive environment for developers to learn about Microsoft platforms and build successful applications.

Syncfusion Succinctly series author Ugo Lattanzi created a video and quiz, What’s New with ASP.NET MVC 6, for the TechRewards program. From December 14, 2015 through January 31, 2016, the video quiz challenge received over 1,400 submissions from participants.

"Due to the volume of interest we received from this quiz it was extended from two weeks to more than 6 weeks. The success of this video also prompted us to leverage additional educational resources from Syncfusion and we are excited to see the results," said Jill West, Challenges Program Manager.

In March 2016, three quizzes based on content from the Syncfusion Succinctly series will be available. The e-books selected—C# Succinctly, C++ Succinctly and Objective-C Succinctly—and their associated quizzes can help prepare developers for the upcoming Microsoft BUILD conference at the end of March.

Syncfusion also produced the Introduction to ASP.NET 5 video quiz challenge with the help of Succinctly series author Simone Chiaretta. This video introduces ASP.NET 5, Microsoft's newest open-source framework. After viewing the video, developers can take the quiz challenge, which is live until the end of March. There have been 679 submissions to the challenge so far this month. Overall, there have been more than 11,000 submissions to TechRewards challenges created from Syncfusion content since July 2015, and over 4,000 submissions relating just to challenges that are currently live.

Developers can redeem TechRewards challenge points on great prizes, including licenses for Syncfusion Essential Studio for ASP.NET and Essential Studio for ASP.NET MVC, both of which are new to the catalog. These updates include organizational charts for the diagram control, multiple selection in the rich text box control, and annotation support for Essential PDF.
