Research Triangle Park, N.C., October 4, 2019—Syncfusion, Inc., the developer solutions company of choice, partnered with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina during the month of July to raise a total of 19,599 meals.
This is a food drive that Syncfusion participates in every summer. This year, Syncfusion surpassed last year’s contributions by 5,894 meals.
The meals supply the Summer Food Service Program. Since many children only have access to food when it’s provided in school, longer vacations can mean less accessibility to nutrition during holiday and summer breaks.
“We had a lot of involvement from the staff this year,” said Daniel Jebaraj, vice president of Syncfusion. “Everyone was eager to help out the community because it’s a great way to show appreciation and make a difference locally.”
Syncfusion continues to strengthen its relationship with the Food Bank. A group of employees recently went to their facility to volunteer to help package food. They took a tour of the facility, learned about how donations help the Food Bank’s mission, and got hands-on experience.
