The free plan gives full access to the Code Studio IDE and enterprise server to a single user. It includes all four AI modes, the UI builder, codebase searching, memory and image input support, MCP integration, connection with local models, and multiple AI provider connections through BYOK support.

Yes. You can switch plans at any time. All credits, team data, and settings carry over automatically.

Code Studio offers three main plans:

  • Free plan: This is for individual developers who want to explore Code Studio. It provides full access to all features except premium models. If you already have API access from providers such as OpenAI or OpenRouter, you can connect your key and use Code Studio completely free. (Tip: OpenRouter offers many free models.)

  • Premium model plans (Basic, Pro, and Enterprise): These are for teams and organizations. These plans include all enterprise-level capabilities:

    • Single sign-on (SSO).
    • Team-wide credit pooling.
    • Usage analytics.
    • Budget controls.
    • All the money you spend on your subscription is converted into usage credits.
    • Higher tiers (Pro and Enterprise) provide bonus credits.
    • You can also connect your own model keys (BYOK) from other AI providers or private deployments.

  • BYOK Unlimited Plan: This is designed for companies that run their own models. It includes access to the full Code Studio IDE and enterprise server, but instead of premium model credits, you use your own AI models hosted privately or through your preferred providers.

Pro users receive a 10% bonus in credits, and Enterprise users receive 20%, giving them more usage for the same cost.

Yes. Paid plans include custom credit recharge, allowing you to purchase and add more credits at any time.

Yes. Credits are reset every month as part of your active subscription cycle. However, any additional credits purchased through credit recharge will remain available as long as your subscription stays active.

AI Models and Capabilities

Premium models in Code Studio—like GPT-5, Gemini 2.5 Pro, and Claude Opus 4.1—offer higher quality outputs, larger context windows, and improved reasoning.

Code Studio supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing you to connect to MCP servers and marketplaces to expand the platform’s capabilities. For example, Git MCP can automate Code Studio’s agent mode to perform Git operations such as checkout or commit.

Yes. You can bring your own key/model. You can connect your organization’s private AI models or API keys securely within Code Studio. 

The fallback policy ensures uninterrupted API usage when using BYOK models.

If a model fails due to API rate limits or long processing times, Code Studio automatically switches to another available model.

This helps maintain developer productivity and prevents workflow interruptions.

Collaboration and Management

Administrators can manage users, roles, and permissions in one place, making onboarding and access control straightforward.
