Overview
In this video, we will explore the features of the Syncfusion® Angular Linear Gauge, a flexible component for visualizing numerical data on a linear scale. It is commonly used in dashboards, reports, and applications to display progress, speed, temperature, and more, like thermometers, pressure gauges, rulers, and more. The Angular Linear Gauge supports both horizontal and vertical orientations, adapting seamlessly to various layouts.
Customizable axes allow precise control over start and end values, label formatting, and scale positioning. Ranges highlight key values with custom colors and gradients. The Angular Linear Gauge offers two types of pointers. A bar pointer for progress representation and a marker pointer to highlight specific values. Marker pointers come in various shapes, including circle, diamond, triangle, and more, with options for custom images or icons. Each pointer type can be styled with different colors, sizes, and animations to be visually engaging.
For an interactive experience, enable pointer dragging to adjust values dynamically or use tooltips to display additional details. The Linear Gauge integrates seamlessly with other components like Dashboard Layout, Tabs, and Dialogs. It can be printed and exported as images, PDFs, and base64 strings.
Globalization is built-in, too. Easily display text and numbers in different cultures and use the Format property to display values in the numeric format. The Angular Linear Gauge component is also fully accessible, adhering to WAI-ARIA standards with screen reader support and smooth keyboard navigation to ensure inclusivity.
