Overview
In this video, we will explore the features of the Syncfusion® Angular DateTime Picker, a powerful and intuitive component for selecting both dates and times in Angular applications. This component allows users to enter date and time values manually or choose from an interactive pop-up calendar and dropdown time selector.
You can restrict the Angular DateTime Picker, so that only date and time values within a specific range can be entered or selected by specifying the min and max date time options. The component allows you to disable specific days. Easily prevent weekends and holidays from selection by disabling them in the pop-up calendar. Built-in validation ensures accuracy by displaying error messages when users try to pick date and time that have been disabled. Highlight any date in a year or every weekend in a month as special days using custom styling. It also supports culture-specific formats, enabling localized date displays, and customizing the start of the week to cater to different schedules. The layout can be displayed right to left for languages like Hebrew and Arabic.
With its high level of built-in responsiveness, the DateTime Picker delivers optimal performance across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices, supporting touch gestures for smaller screens. It comes with themes such as Material, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS, but these can be fully customized using CSS to align with your application’s design.
Accessibility is a priority, and the Angular DateTime Picker adheres to WAI-ARIA standards, supporting keyboard navigation and screen readers.
